Minna Bohner Obituary Collection Index

Among the papers left by Minna Bohner, long-time EGS member, were several envelopes containing obituaries between 1988 and 1991. Since Minna received delivery of the Elgin Daily Courier, we believe the clippings are from that paper. As a tribute to her work as a  genealogist, we have digitized and indexed these obituaries. Minna wrote the year on each clipping but not the specific date of death or publication date. Whenever that date of death was indiscernible from the obituary itself, the indexer used the  Social Security Death Index found of Rootsweb.com.
