Italian Genealogy 101

August 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Sandra Trapp will be presenting “Italian Genealogy 101”.  Are you just getting started with Italian Genealogy?  Do not speak Italian?  This program will provide you with resources you can use to research your ancestors’ Italian birth, marriage, and death records even if you are not an Italian native.  Internet and printed resources along with examples of records and how to read them will be presented as well as the availability of records for Americans.

Sandra Trapp has presented programs for numerous genealogical organizations and libraries and has volunteered at the Naperville Family History Center since 2000.   She has been researching her family, her husband’s, son-in-law’s, and friends’ families for over 20 years.

Her primary areas of research include Italy, England, Pomerania, colonial New England, New York, and some of the western migration states.
